Before Abortion...

What you should do before coming for a procedure:

• You must not eat, drink, or smoke after midnight.


• No chewing gum the day of the procedure.


• You may brush your teeth and spit out the rinse.


• Take any medication prescribed to you with a sip of water (it is very important to limit the intake of liquids).Call your doctor to check the exact insulin dose you should take. Bring your glucose machine with you also. Bring all prescribed medications with you and it will stay with you or your drivers at all times while you are here.


• Wear comfortable clothing that includes regular panties and no thongs.


• Make sure that all oral piercings are out of tongue, lip, and cheek.


• You must bring a driver and we have to see the driver before you can have the procedure done.


• Make sure you bring a state issued picture ID. If you are under the age of 18, you must have your birth certificate and a parent/guardian must be present with his/her ID.


• Make sure that you leave any personal items with your driver. If any of your belongings are misplaced, missing or stolen, we are not responsible.


• Due to the patient privacy and the need to keep a comfortable and tranquil environment for our patients, we ask that there be no children in the office.
